Well, as time would have it, it has flown way by!! I am so sorry. I seem to be writing this everytime when I go to write in the blog. How brutal. Honestly, I am going to try to keep everyone up to date now. We'll see how it goes. Well, Lív is now 10½ months old. And she's a big girl!! She just started to crawl yesterday!!! Yay, Finally!!! René and I are so happy that she's crawling now!! She is also saying a few words now. Hi, Hey, Bye, Breyð(that's bread in Faroese), Hoyr(hear, in faroese), Nei(no), Mamma, Babba. I think that's about it.

René is working at a daycare now for 7 and 8 year olds, most of the time. Sometimes he is at one for 3 to 5 and at a 6 year old daycare. He seems to be quite enjoying it. I(stacey) am working at the 6 year old daycare. And I simply love it! It's so good to be around kids again!! I truly missed working in a daycare.

We're almost ready for Christmas!! We've bought all the presents and decorated!! Now it's just time to bake!!! And I am so excited for it!!! I love to bake and bake and bake!! So if any of you have any recipes that you feel are shareable, I am willing to take them off your hands. You can just email them to me. If you don't have my email, then you just leave them in the comments section!!

im so bad at this!!!

hey all, I am so bad at this blog thing!! If only I was as good at it as I was with facebook!!! Well, we are home now. Back in the Faroes. And it's great to be back. It's so low key here. There's really no rushing around or anything like that, which I absolutely love!! So, I've posted this blog onto my facebook page as well. Hooray!! And I will add some new pictures as well. It should be good.

So, as some of you know, I had got a new job at Hotel Vágar. Unfortunately it didn't work out. I had to quit there. The boss couldn't give me permanent full time. But I still have my job at Hotel Hafnia, so it all works out in the end, right?

Lív is doing good. She is eating baby cereal now. And boy oh boy is she ever messy!! Sheesh!! But she loves it, so that's really good. She is also rolling over, and she can take her suckie in and out of her mouth now. She can almost also sit up on her own. She's growing up. Sad day. She will also be starting Daycare in August :( But it should only be half time. Thank goodness for that.

I guess it's been a while since our last post....oops. Lív is doing well. She's finally starting to really gain weight now. We were in the hospital last weekend because Lív wasn't gaining weight. We were there for 3 nights (I stayed with her). The nurse started her on Profylac(formula), and now she's gaining a lot. Which is really good. We went back to the hospital for a checkup on Wednesday, and she had gained 200 grams since we left the hospital. Only 3 days, or something like that. So, she now has a little pudgy face!! So cute!!!

We're coming home soon!! Only 22 more days!!! I'm so excited!!!! So, if any of you are home, we'll definitely have to have a visit for sure! Anyway, all....that's it for now....Can't wait to see you all!!!!

Time sure flies!!

Well, it's been about a month since the last post....I am horrible at this. Geez. Lív is getting bigger and bigger. She is quite long now! She's still a big skinny, but the nurse said that she is still healthy, and no need to worry. She's beautiful and adorable and everything inbetween. She can no hold her head up on her own most of the time! She is also talking and laughing and smiling all the time! It so nice to see that she's happy. She loves her Abbi(Grandpa) Páll. Whenever he has her, she is laughing and giggling! No matter if she has been having a hard day or not...she loves him so much!!

René and I are also doing well. René is working a lot. He's just back after 5 days off! It has been so nice to have him home for those days. So we were mostly just relaxing for those days...it was definitely nice! I am doing well, too. Just enjoying being a mom! I am loving it! It has got to be the world's best job.

Tanya and Darryl Oss came to visit us a couple of weeks ago. It was so much fun to have someone here from Canada. They blessed us so much! It was fantastic! So, if any of you want to come to the beautiful Faroe Islands...please do....we would love to have you!

There was a group here in the Faroes from Denmark. They go to a Bible College there. They're from all over the world. I think one of them said that there are between 17 and 20 different nations at the school. What an amazing thing! Anyway, we went to a youth meeting with them on Saturday, and they are totally living for God! It's so good to see that there are still people like that out there. You can see their hearts on fire for Jesus! I absolutely loved it! We met a man there, his name is Christopher. He's from Zambia. He has such a passionate heart! We got to talk to him for quite a while on Saturday, and we got to pray together, and he prayed for Lív too. He really touched my heart, and I hope and pray that we'll get to see him again!

We are coming home on May 1st! Woohoo!!! I can't wait! It is going to be so good! Lív and I are going to be there until June 5th, but René will be leaving on the 21st of May. He can't take 5 weeks off of work all at once. Especially at the start of tourist season. So, he'll be working a lot when Lív and I are at home with my family!!

Lív turned one month old yesterday!! She's growing up :) Time sure flies. She took in her first football(soccer) match yesterday. Her Babba Beiggi(uncle) Ingi was playing. She did sleep through the whole thing, but she was still there....and I'm sure that if she was awake, she would have been cheering him on.

We're all doing well here. Keeping busy with Lív. But we're having a great time with her, she's absolutely wonderful!! Well that's all for now.

A New Life

Well, I decided that I would start a blog up to post pictures mainly of Lív. I will also post news about how she is doing and how René and I are also doing, and what's going on in our lives.

So, Lív is doing well. Thriving. She's growing, and eating a lot. She'll be one month old in 6 days!She's absolutely beautiful. And she is such a good baby. She's smiling now and laughing, and making a lot of eye contact. She likes to move around a lot, too. She's learning new things everyday. We absolutely love her to bits and bits. René's parents are completely lost in her, and if we're visiting them, we don't really see her. They are always talking and playing with her. Or, changing her diaper(hallelujah!). We spend a lot of time with René's family. We don't want them to feel left out at all in her life. And we definitely want her to know her family.

René and I are doing well. Getting by on less and less sleep ;) René is back at work now :( But it's ok....I'm learning to take care of Lív the best I can on my own. I don't know how single mom's do it. To all those single mom's out there, praise to you!
